Poor Graham

I was apparently doing WAY too much bragging about how well Graham had done with NOT getting sick. Because MAN oh MAN is he sick now. In fact, it's QUITE reminiscent of last winter....when he got sick, VERY SICK, and stayed that way for weeks and even months at a time. He started off with strep last weekend. We got Amoxicillin and he seemed to be recovering, THEN it became this horrible sinusy stuffiness- like his old sinus infections. And now he has this painful cough, like one that wakes him every 30 minutes ALL NIGHT LONG and leaves him miserable and completely exhausted. He hasn't slept well in 3 nights. Isn't taking his usual 3 hour naps- in fact- last night I'd say he was up 25-30 times screaming and crying and then only slept 1 hour today at his nap. He usually sleeps from 8 p.m. to 7 or 7:30 a.m. and then naps from Noon to 3 each day. So, to say he's tired is a small understatement.

If he's not better by Monday, his doctor wants to see him back again. It's so frustrating, because he's been healthy for MONTHS and then right before the baby comes- we spiral into this. I really hope it's just one bad run of crud- not that he's slipping back into his abnormally low neutrophil counts, etc. He is to see his hematologist about that in a few weeks, though I'm probably going to have to reschedule it because it's right when the baby is to come.

Poor kid....praying he is back to his healthy, HAPPY self very very soon.
