Graham's GI dr. had us start weaning him off his reflux meds, slowly, at his birthday- just to see if he'd outgrown his reflux. He's been off the med since last weekend and a complete mess since about 12 hours after we stopped it. He's back on the stuff now, but his little body must just be on fire with inflammation or something. He's not eating. Screaming his head off much of the day. NOT sleeping. And the irritable little baby we had moved past is surely back.
We hate that he's got to feel like this. Before when we started the reflux meds for him around 6 weeks of age, we were told to allow a couple weeks for it to really improve. I am praying it doesn't take a couple weeks this time- cause he is miserable.
