I've been a little behind with blogging lately - mostly because of how busy my new job has been. BUT- for the Fourth- we headed back home and spent the weekend with both sides of the family. Saturday we spent with Josh's family. We got up early Saturday morning and I failed to watch the weather forecast and threw Graham in shorts and a tank top. We headed down the road and arrived at Josh's parents before lunch. Gave Graham his nap and when he woke up- changed him to fall-like attire as shown here:
Despite the cold, rainy weather -- we went to the annual festivities in Josh's hometown. Graham made it through about 20 minutes of the parade. He was all smiles before we went but quickly got too sleepy. But boy does he look like his daddy here!
He is growing and changing so fast- I think he looks like such a little boy lately! He's just so darn happy - long earned for him that's for sure! He's been drinking milk-based gentle formula for a week now and is doing just great. We think he's really outgrowing most of his issues and we're so relieved to see them go! AS IS GRAHAM!
The highlight of the weekend was that Graham got to meet his GREAT GREAT Grandma Gertrude. She came up from Florida for the weekend and Graham immediately jumped right into her arms. He kissed her and snuggled with her and despite his usual need to crawl and move all over - he was content to sit on her lap forever and just stare at her. Isn't it amazing how they know these things? What an honor for him to get to meet her. We hope we'll get down to visit her in the upcoming year......such a blessing.
Lastly, we went to Dylan's second birthday party on Sunday. Of course- our camera batteries were dead by then so I have no photos from the actual day. Dylan and Graham are good buddies- but Dylan will really like it when Graham can run around with him. He insists that Graham play with him. He sat on the floor next to Graham for 20 minutes showing him how to play with his tractors (Dylan is 100% farm boy and calls his tractors vroom vrooms) and then really wanted Graham to push the tractors around with him. Graham would pick them up and suck on them and Dylan would yell "Graham - PLAY VROOM VROOM" over and over and over again. Poor kid couldn't understand why Graham wouldn't push them after him. He even went up to his room and brought a whole selection of vroom vrooms down - thinking that Graham just wanted a different one. Poor kid. Someday soon when Graham starts running around, Dylan will be one happy boy to have a shadow!!

I really miss him but know that he's in good hands. This week Stacie is on vacation, so lots of family members are filling in a day. Daddy was off one day, my Mom today, my Grandma tomorrow and Kristen (my brother Ben's fiance) is coming up Thursday and Friday. We are blessed by so many people that love and care for Graham.
