The biggest news in our house- Grace is WALKING. Like really walking, very steadily and it's now her primary mode of transportation! Crawling is rare. She's fast, pretty accurate and SO cute walking! She holds her hands up above her shoulders and sort of toddles. Hilarious.
She is having some trouble still with her pneumonia. She first got it back in February and her only symptom then was a very high fever accompanied by extreme lethargy. So since then, it's never went away! We take round after round of high powered antibiotic. The lethargy fades right after the med and then we start to get a very cranky, restless, not sleeping girl. And then the fever comes back, we go back for a chest xray and sure enough....it's still there. SO this last time, we got sent to a specialist at Blank. He's great, Graham saw him. We're in the throws of some BIG tests. She had a huge blood immune workup last week. Will have a sweat chloride test for cystic fibrosis followed by a chest CT scan soon. Graham had the sweat chloride test and it is awful, I dread that one that most. But we will make it through. The doctor is basically trying to find the root cause for this persistent pneumonia. And she STILL has no symptoms. The girl hasn't had a cold in 6 months or more. No cough, nothing. And Graham hasn't gotten it at all so it's just kinda' weird?! We're hoping they figure it out for her soon so she can just feel well for good!
Graham is doing great. He's a ball of energy, happy as clam and growing so fast. I can't even believe he turns 4 and goes to preschool this fall?!??? Wow. He's a great big brother. They are finally both at the age where I can put them in the sand box or with a pile of toys, leave and in a few minutes hear both of them laughing. That is my favorite thing---when they're making each other laugh!
